Raul Fernandez (Senior Lecturer, BU Wheelock), Sidrah Baloch (Assist. Director, Wheelock Educational Policy Center), and Cara Mattaliano (Assist. Director, SPACE) attended the opening retreat of the Rennie Center Massachusetts Education Policy Fellowship (MEPF) on Tuesday. The MEPF is a ten-month professional development program for established and emerging education leaders designed to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of public policy making.

Duoethnography: “Our own ring of stones in the river”: duoethnography as haven for women of color in the academy (co-published article by Assoc. Professor Christina Dobbs)
In this special issue, Christina Dobbs and Christine Montecillo Leider explain how the duoethnography space has been a “haven that allows us some refuge from the typical pressures of academia while still making that experience visible and explicit for others.”
